According to Wiki there is a version which is 16% ABV. I’d hate to meet that gnat. The stuff we got was wet, fizzy and cold. Apart from that it didn’t have much going for it.

I don't get the brewed under licence concept at all, seems most lagers are.

Memory is hazy here but I’m pretty sure that Sainsbury’s own brand bitter was brewed by Ruddles in the seventies. Glenmorangie made Tesco’s scotch.
