Are Villa a bigger club than Palace? Yeah. Does it make one bit of difference? Nope

Leeds, Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest all traditionally 'bigger clubs'. That term doesnt have the same meaning these days. Or at least, not as much. If all teams mentioned were going hard to sign a player he'd be signing for Palace. n the premier league at least, its about the here and now IMO.

Exactly right, most footballers dont care about history, it comes down to recent success and what they can be offered.. Palace are in London, established in Premier League, exciting players (at the mo), whereas Villa have been in the Championship for 3 ish years and are in the Midlands which is nowhere near as desirable as London either.
We'll soon see whether Villa are just going to throw money around (Fulham) or if they're going to keep the core the same as it is (Bournemouth), either way, id say Palace are the more attractive club to a potential signing at this moment in time.

This thread is about Grealish and i do agree that we would have no chance of signing him now that the team he supports are in the premier league.
