Totally agree,

Have seen Maupay play a few times and although in a lower league looked one hell of a player.

Not only does he score all kind of goals but he also had a good few assists to his name as well. Also has a little bit of attitude about him which i like to see in a player.

Can’t see Palace going for Maupay but wherever he ends up I firmly believe he will score goals.

Forget Che Adams, Charlie Austin, Maupay. Lets spend some of the AWB money on Mitrovic.

Perhaps because he knows where the goal is

he may have just been making a general point and was perfectly aware he wasn't talking about Ched Evans or Chad Heavens or Evan Williams or Che Guevara, it's easy to get confused but he may not have meant it and for all you know Che Adams might have a criminal record or he could have got off after appeal, best not to be judgemental generally speaking

When i first saw the post che adams i thought, isn't that the bloke who was convicted. i type in che adams and it came up with the thing about being convicted in the same post about this person signing for southampton.

Dunno how i can be an idiot for making a mistake.

Maybe you are one of the rare people that has never made a mistake ever in there life.

The main thing about all of this though is would a fan want a convicted person signing for the club they support. That though should be in a different topic altogether.

It depends on the crime of course. but if they were convicted, it also means they've served their time and paid their dues.
Everyone's situation is different. My step father was convicted of GBH when he was younger because he sorted out the workers at a care home that he lived at as a child who abused the children horrifically. Do you think he deserves less of an opportunity?

Agreed with the proviso that anyone convicted of a sex offence should be banned from all sport. This rules applies to teachers, doctors, youth leaders and should apply to footballers. It should not be up to individual clubs the FA and FIFA should take a stand on this.

100% agree, sexual/child based offences should instantly constitute life long ban from the game
