He's had a very good season in Scotland but didn't do s*** in 2 seasons in the Premier League before that. Is already 30 years old. I think the club should think more for the future, not invest in an average 30 year old guy just cause he's cheap Edited by mattteo (03 May 2019 12.46pm)

Not a particularly exciting option, but maybe a sensible one.

The question is, will he want to leave his 'boyhood club' to sit on the bench at Palace? I say that because I don't see him displacing any of our current first XI. There is also a rumour knocking around of us being interested in Murphy at Cardiff which seems more likely and more promising as he's young, very quick and only starting to find his way in the game at the top level. Certainly not a finished article but that would be reflected in the price.
