18 months don't make you more intelligent. If you think Bernardo Silva is better than Leroy Sane, this discussion is proof of it. Time will prove once and again that you are wrong, like you were every time you engaged me in conversation with ill intentions.

And yes, Guardiola didn't count on him for some matches, with Huddersfield, Newcastle and Brighton among them. Looks to me like he was more resting him or rotating the squad. The manager is also kind of pissed that Sane refuses to sign a new contract and is punishing him cause Bayern have already gotten to him and he might be forced to sell at the end of summer if they don't convince him to pen a new deal.

But what do I know......even though I've seen Leroy Sane play and what he can do and it's out of this world...I don;t know anything

Your delusions aside, Sane started just over half of Premier League games and only a third in the Champions League - to suggest he was their second best player over the season is just madness, particularly when you use false statistics to justify it.

Sane is an incredible youngster, but Bernardo is streets ahead at the moment.

Yep shame he rested him for 84 minutes v Spurs in the CL, the biggest game of the season

Not sure what that's got to do with the discussion about Sane?

Should people dig up your old posts like this one about Bissaka?

I say sell the moment someone offers 20+ million for him (Everton anyone or straight swap with Lookman?)

I’m not sure what you think you proved right - as I said, bringing up old posts is not something I think you should get involved with.

Your lack of response to the actual topic here is telling - is it time for another life jacket?

Rested for 17 Prem games and 8 in the champions league - who knew.

And yet he's the team's second best goalscorer and assister.

And wow, he didn't play in that match with Tottenham which they lost!!

This discussion ends here. You want to believe a player is better only of he plays more, I believe a player is better based on what he actually does on the pitch.

Discussion ends because you have to be correct?

Bernado has been more important than Sane this season.

Can't judge a player just on goals/assists either. Look at Zaha for example, against Bournemouth. He only had 2 registered assists but played a part in all 5 goals!

I think if you asked City fans who they think had a better season most would pick Bernado.

Not quite your assessments are always stats based../ how many times must you be told stats mean very little, it is a players overall contribution to the team. Bernardo miles better than Sane this year due to his OVERALL contribution

Firstly I have no idea why this post is in transfer talk, we're not trying to sign any of them.

Secondly I cant believe people are bickering over who's better Sane or B.Silva. It's like arguing what tastes better, tap water or bottled tap water.

And frankly, saying a statement you believe to be correct and demanding that's end of discussion on a 'discussion forum' is absurd. End of discussion.

Have to agree. Let's see if it gets lived up to by the poster

Did I say exactly 20 million? I don't remember that, but if I did I meant it because I didn't know how much other clubs were willing to offer. He's not gonna be 21-22 forever and his value will go down after this season, I maintain my opinion that cashing in this summer would be the best thing.

If they offer 30 or 40 million, all for the better. But next summer or 2 summers from now they won't be offering that much anymore for a 23-24 year old.
