Are you referring to Idan Ofer, who owns the majority of Portuguese club F.C. Famalicão and a third of Atlético Madrid?

Indeed. His son is known as JJ. Very much a family who have a keen interest in footbal....sounds too good to be true for Palace

Is there a realistic chance of the American guys selling up any time soon? The Club is stagnating with minimal investment to the team or the stadium.
It looks like we will survive again this season thanks to the accumulation of a decent amount of points to date but I fear next year we will have an ageing squad no Zaha and a good chance of relegation.
Obviously I understand that talks need to be confidential but it would be good to understand from Parish where he sees the club going in the next five years.

The American buy in allowed 2010 to get out what they put in when they saved us from liquidation - and maybe a bit more. I certainly don't begrudge them any of that, quite the opposite. But this is the side of remote investment I'd much prefer we didn't have in our club, stagnation it is - a real shame.

Particular players more injured then not and particular players not performing full stop, that's the problem.

They didn't buy the stake in 2010, that was all English (Parish and co). A few years later we sold 51% to them for 50 million.

Nah. The man meant the CPFC2010 investors sold shares to recover their initial investment.

Its all gone very quiet on the sale?

Has anyone yet worked out, who actually owns Palace? From what I see there are 3 companies with an interest/share CPFC 2010 Ltd, Palace Midco UK Ltd and Palace Holdco UK Ltd. I did hear the Holdco element is thousands of small share holders in the USA.
With the web on ownership, its not surprising a sale is complicated.

Probably with our 3 defeats in a row,any investors will postpone any negotiations until we are safe, which is by no means certain.

The deal collapsed because Sorloth got sent off last night.

Guys -- I haven't read this whole thread and don't shoot the messenger either but a mate who lives in Perth, Australia not Scotland, tells me that the news there is that LFE - London Football Exchange - want seven Clubs - Perth and Palace being two of them.
True - no idea at all but apparently on the TV there in the last 24 hours?
