Alright everyone. Since there's no footy for a while, Here's a wierd one for all of you, and me, who've suffered grim injuries in the past. I hope this post helps someone out.

My story.
2000 whilst living in a eastern country, due to a hot lady (lady used advisorily) I was hit by a car, in the snow, in the dark, on a pushbike. This silly thing smashed my shoulder up so bad that for the last 19 years my arm never worked or felt "right". All muscle mass faded away and although my hand was always still fine, I could never drop my shoulder to a resting position. Like it felt it would fall-out of it's socket (which it did originally).

Strangely, this month, after about two weeks of strange pains and tickly, itching, aches, especially around my upper forearm and elbow, somehow, my entire shoulder, all the tendons, my shoulder blade, whatever your chest muscle tendon is called, have reactivated (and I'm not talking about the Atari Teenage Riot version).

My bloody arm works again. My bicep is suddenly long, slim and hard as f***.

So ladies n gents, it actually looks like our bods can heal themselves.

Have a decent summer and hope you have some good luck along the way.

About 10 years ago I was rushed into hospital.

Upon arrival, I was wheeled into triage, where they didn't leave me alone for 36 long hours.

'I've heard about you' one nurse told me, 'we've never had a patient arrive with a temperature of 41° and survive!'

Great, I thought. But here I am today.

I had a bit of chafing on my knob once, however, it did heal in a day or two. Good as new.

that's nowt.
I had genital warts & was too embarresed to go to Docs so burnt 'em off with a strong solution.
sat on edge of bath full of water and jumped in when it got too painful.

On a less serious note, I fell through scaffold sometime early 90s, bending 1 leg badly.
Knowing best, I bought a walking stick and decided alcohol would fix it over a few weeks.
still gives me jip , sometimes to the degree i'm off a day or 2 & cannot work.

Oh well, at least I saved my knob from the warts...

I had a car accident in 2016 and my left leg was severely crushed.. I had acute compartment syndrome and had 3 operations and 5 weeks in hospital.. Then had 4 months bed bound and had to learn to walk all over again.

It put an end to my work career and rugby and football... I've attached some photos but I must warn you they are grim so if you have a weak stomach dont click on them!!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

4 years ago I was diagnosed with bladder cancer and given a 50/50 chance of survival. I know how fortunate I am and it has certainly changed my outlook on life and helps put things into perspective.
If it wasn't for the tremendous progress made by Cancer Research over the last decade I would not be posting this today.

Despite falling off the odd roof or scaffold in my time, stacking a bike 4 times at over 100mph (racing) i've luckily never suffered anything as bad as a few here have.
You're all still here so that can only be a good thing

You bunch of cry babies with ya serious, life threatening, mentally crushing unimaginable injuries have got f*** all on me!
I once caught my foreskin in my zipper: like, all the way up and over. Only way to release was a sharp tug (ironically, the very reason I was in such a pickle) downwards.

Beat that!
