Never mind all these other Potters, this is the only one you need to be looking at.

You are on the wind up so hard it’s quite sweet really. Good luck to you if that’s how you like to spend your days.

I fail to understand how or why anyone would want to dislike someone so much for achieving so much positive action on the pitch, performances have been very good all season, except maybe on about three occasions where we were outplayed on the day.
Results and performances are two completely different beasts, some people can understand quite easily while others struggle.
Considering all of our squad Mr Hodgson has done an unbelievable job with them, we are in incredible safe hands and long may it continue ChrisGC.

Just having a laugh cherry blossom, not my fault that the truth hurts.

Look out, here's TP (how apt!) again. Flattered that you spend every waking moment looking out for my posts.

Be careful mate. All that licking of Roy's bum and we'll have to rename you pink eye!

sorry to interrupt this compelling clash of verbal rapiers, but Potter may have something special about him - when there was talk of Roy's retirement which can't be too far off I posted suggesting Potter as next for us - some argue he has had talented youngsters to choose from and that anyone could have got Swansea on the brink of the playoffs, others reckon Swansea lost 16 players in the summer, nearly all of their prem stars, and that it took miracles to get them where they finished - which side do you tend towards? I watched our cup game v them back in Sep on stream, they played with SEVEN DEBUTANTS and played us off the park for about 60 minutes of the game, they had to be organised and the man who did the organising did an amazing job. And his CV indicates someone with intellect, and we have lacked this quality in our football culture for too long, too much nuts and bolts pragmatism without the ideas of the Klopps and Guardiolas of this world. The ruthless dismissal of Hughton (who is good but had taken them as far as he could) and the daring selection of an unproven coach impresses me - he won't be Frank de Boer mark 2 trust me.

To be fair mate, Grimsby almost got a draw with us away, with 10 men for 80 mins. So I don’t think our cup performances are much of a yardstick.

However, I think Potter is a solid appointment, much as Hughton was. Annoying that Brighton keep appointing mangers I like. I didn’t even mind Poyet, until his last year when he turned into a complete douchebag.

Vive le Roy!

Will finish below us and that's all that matters. Probably well below if they know their place.

Yeah, the jury is out for me. I appreciate both sides of the opinion base, although yours seems more compelling.

What worries me most in the equation is that Bloom is a very savvy businessman with an excellent model. He was fair to Hughton, and swift with the axe when the time was right. I can't see this appointment being a likely mistake given his nous.
