He can score goals but does very little else. He can't play as lone striker, he can't hold ball, he doesn't link and play with others, he can't tackle, he loses ball.It would be like playing with 10 men. What more can I say its a big no from me. He is not EPL level other than possibly as a sub as a 2nd striker

Indeed but not a lot at PL level. He has scored about 20 PL goals spread over 4 seasons.
He scores goals at Championship level - I was informed ealier that Fulham are casting eyes in his direction and I believe he would be a useful signing for them in the Championship.

I think he would be a good signing for a Championship club but at present is on PL wages.

i think that stat is somewhat unfair as how many of them apps were from the bench last 20mins.

michi has shown that what we need with our current style of play is a poacher/finisher.

ihave no doubt that if a striker of ‘that ilk’ played 35 games they would get 15/20 goals in our current team.

If indeed this was the case, it suggests that managers have not deemed him good enough to start on all these occasions.I have reservations about him at PL level.

Gayle was fine when he came on , when he started games he was lost. No good for us unfortunately

There is our answer. Sign him cheap then swap him plus cash for Mitrovic
