The two main parties don't have any internal alignment on basic matters on top of the total sh*t show that is Brexit. We're going to be paralysed for years to come. Wouldn't life be good with Tom Watson and Rory Stewart in charge of their parties. Just imagine the progress that could be made.

I agree that neither party has internal alignment on Brexit, hence the current gridlock and a still unknown course going forward. Approval ratings for May and Corbyn are beyond terrible though and so in theory it could be that any change of leader is somewhat likely to favour the party making the change.
