No but it was on ITV if that helps

Pie nails it yet again.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

If he were leading the Labour party I think they would be doing far better.....that's for sure.

I'm a bit of a fan of Pie, to be honest. Although he's a bit more to the left for my liking, he hates all of them.

He's a normie but a well meaning one.....he thinks that if everyone could just behave themselves that everything would just turn out alright.

Misguided but noble.....but he's funny....so he's good at his job.

Probably why he's not on TV.

I think that some people, groups, religions can't handle the truth and shout racist at every opportunity.

It's the Guardian, so it only means something to the leftists.

What is wrong with this?

"“There must be something about Islam that indeed helps to explain why there was no rise of the bourgeoisie, no liberal capitalism and therefore no spread of democracy in the Muslim world.

“It is extraordinary to think that under the Roman/Byzantine empire, the city of Constantinople kept the candle of learning alight for a thousand years, and that under Ottoman rule, the first printing press was not seen in Istanbul until the middle of the nineteenth century. Something caused them to be literally centuries behind.”

I think he makes some excellent points the Middle East is not exactly known as a bastion of liberalism and democracy. I suspect that most people would agree with his assessment it's just The Guardian trying to stir things up.

Just watch a video of what goes on in a typical Madrassa and compare with generally what goes on in a western school (or did before mass state sponsored indoctrination) , I think it explains a lot.

Thanks. Just heard that myself. May resigns tomorrow, unless she refuses to go and they have to evict her.
