But its our wide players and White who are why we are going all the way. Never seen an Englishwoman that can finish like White. She knows where to put the ball and gets into good open positions, and England give her the chance she needs. No its not coming home, but i think it might come to England for a while. An excellent performance all round. That third goal too, anyone would be proud of that. The semis could be a huge challenge, but they'll give it a good go and if this result is anything to go by, they stand a decent chance.

England were pretty good. Not sure what was wrong with Norway. There were some terrible touches throughout and I have to wonder about that 'dummy' shot on our goal. That would be hard to claim.

No VAR disasters against Norway. Suspicious. The accidental handball by our lioness would normally have resulted in a daft VAR penalty, but no. I am already imagining the final ruined by a VAR decision probably in the last minute, favouring France. An English lioness, lying unconscious on the turf after being decked by a 'la boeuf', will be deemed by VAR to have not to have returned to an onside position in time. Result 1-0 to France.

Our girls certainly have their work cut out against the States in the semis on Tuesday. A place in the final is a reward and a half though.

The football has improved a lot in the past 5 years and some of the players are pretty talented. It's great to see full stadiums, good atmosphere and the teams playing hard. Good luck to the team on Tuesday, looking forward to it.
