I do like a bit of flesh, but God, who is her wardrobe manager?

To make it worse, where was her charisma on the Graham Norton show?

She should also understand that she’s neither relevant or sexy. To the majority of music buyers she’s someone who their mothers, or even grandmothers, liked which tends to disqualify anyone from the hip status she desperately wants to claim.

I didn't watch it having perused the list of guests.

I've lost count of the number of times that I've been disappointed by the lack of charisma and personality of actors that I've liked

We did actually watch it, as we were having bets as to which point her tits would fall out of that costume. I think Piers Morgan (not usually a man I'm fond of) said it all:

"Rude, vain, obnoxious and looked ridiculous"

...and she was wonderfully upstaged by Sir Ian McKellern!

Odious Slag.

Just a loose backing dancer who shagged her way to the top. Well past her sell by date.

Other than Vogue, speed of light and the one from Austin Powers her music is all s***e.

Less said about the acting the better.

Is she still collecting kids for s***s and giggles?

I think sometimes are expectations of people are way too high. Actors just read someoneleses lines and are generally prettier than the rest of us.

My biggest disappointment was that an actor who is so full of personality on the screen like Johnny Depp could turn out to be so bland in real life.

I don't mind the eye candy being a bit thick although I was disappointed with Emily Blunt when she was promoting Mary Poppins.

My biggest surprise was Taylor Swift who seemed both intelligent and articulate when I saw her about a year ago.

The most unusual interview was with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Emilia Clarke where she was very quiet and shy and seemed to be in awe of Big Arnie perhaps not realising that she was possibly the most lusted after female in the Western world

Which makes it even harder to take when they start pontificating.
Parkinson had his faults but he interviewed some real stars who had lived lives outside film making and had some stories to tell whereas chat shows now are just there to shill for their latest film / cd / book. Ironic on a channel that doesn’t accept advertising.

actors are driven to appear greater than their reality, the whole celeb thing is outdated, I exaggerate, but the chat show is a dead parrot, I don't listen to 'loose ends' but that's a better format, getting guests on to talk about something not just themselves. they can add to a show not be its content

A list celebrities won't waste their time appearing on chat shows unless there was something in it for them which in the case of the Graham Norton show is to promote their latest film, TV series, book or song

As Teddy Eagle has already posted, this is true of all such shows, not just the Norton version.

Most cringeworthy of all are the 3 minute 'interviews' that BBC presenters get with the lead actors in the latest God-awful American 'comedy' aka 'star vehicle'. They always seem to take place in the same hotel room (as parodied in 'Notting Hill') and the actors are always the new best friend of the presenter, until they instantly forget them when the camera switches off.
