Apologies, but i wish this software had an 'ignore' function. Putin reckons the West is dying from its own hypocrisy, and i tend to agree.

Those who believe Putin actually believes these things are doing exactly what he wants them to do. He wants to increase the dissatisfaction of the right with our modern liberal democracies, and has teams sowing and spreading misinformation via social media. Scriptwriters will prepare these speeches to ensure they touch the biggest sensitivities. Then the right pick it up, say "yeah, Putin's right" and spread it thick and wide via forums and those videos that some seem so fond of as being the "real" news! It even happens here. It's quite sad when people don't realise how they are being used by the enemy. The truth is that Putin fears liberal social democracy. He knows if ever such sentiments took root in Russia, he would be finished. His objections have nothing to do with what is best for the people, and only with what will ensure he remains in power.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

The 'one nation conservative' can't stand the idea of the prejudices of the right being reinforced. Is the Benny Hill theme tune playing or something? Apparently we need Putin to tell us what many on the left and right already know.....You could just watch a Jimmy Dore or Russell Brand video to hear the same stuff about the elites....you don't need to listen to a Putin translation. The fertility of local men (& the middle classes) has hit the floor. How often do you see a local couple who a) married young b) had a ton of kids c) the dad was employed and stayed in the picture etc. As rare as a hens tooth. Putin has struck a chord with the decadence and depravity of the West. The West is all consumerism, money and everybody with endless selfish choices.

What is sad is that a dangerous, ruthless mob boss like him doesn't even need to lie about the state of Western values. If only we could say it was fake news, but alas it's not. Even so, he has no chance of diverting anything. The 'free' world and many in Russia know exactly what he is.

I care that it's Putin who is doing it, that the right seem to be unaware of why he is doing it, and they are playing his game for him. In my opinion, we need to be united in our condemnation of him and everything he says and does. No exceptions just because he says something you agree with. You definitively don't need Putin to tell you this. He is just using your existing prejudices for his own reasons. How you got them only you know. The right seem to think they are the only group who understand and value traditional family values, but it just isn't true. Every thinking person understands what a positive contribution to society a good family makes. However, not everyone is lucky enough to be part of one, or create non-traditional family units or live lifestyles which preclude forming a family. All are still worthy people who need and deserve support. The difference seems to be that the right ONLY value the traditional family.

Social liberalism has led to politicians not being able to define what a women is, gangs grooming raping underage working class girls kept quiet by Police and trannies teaching children in libraries. Makes me sick. Liberalism once stood for something worth its name....it's been perverted. We don't need Putin to tell us about the degeneracy.....We don't needs its supporters to tell us about Putin.
