Excellent. I just won a fiver.

I bet that Brexit and climate change would make an appearance before the end of the second page.

And I won a tenner by betting someone would claim to have bet on it so we’re all winners.

Poor people are shocking aren’t they? Firstly they choose to live miserable lives just to cheat the country out of the tax they’d pay if they earned more, they clutter up inner city areas that could be gentrified by better people and as if that wasn’t enough they don’t even eat the right kind of food. Do Lidl even sell quinoa?

Yup
Miserable in their paid for house/flat
50" tele
Fags
Beer and a foreign holiday.
Not bad if you can get it.
You have either been sarcy or taken out of context.
I go with sarcy teddy.
You actually get my point though.
Gentrify parts of London.

A responsible bartender would not allow a drinker to down a short every minute whilst standing at the bar. At some point he would say that's enough.

I watch people play these machines all the time it is highly addictive the machine is designed that way.

In general I think people should be allowed to do what they like but you have to have some rules. It is no coincidence that the bookies have more betting shops in poorer areas than in wealthy one.

Amongst my middle class friends none of them gamble I suspect that is because they are happy with their lifestyle where as poorer people are always hoping for that one life changing moment.

Oh, Badger, have you never been in a wetherspoons?

It’s a fair cop guv’nor. Sarky it was.
I have no time for spongers or the feral non-humans either but I’m sure lots of us have been poor in the past and when you’re wondering where your next meal is coming from you’re not that bothered about it’s nutritional value.

I no longer drink but still visit Weatherspoons Lewisham twice a week. By the way I did say "responsible" bartender. You could never accuse the staff in Weatherspoons Lewisham of that.

One more point

Tbh I have done beans on toast for a week.
Way back in the late 80s when it went south.
A kid
A mortgage
No job
No dough
Eventual repossesion
s*** happened then.
I'm back now though with 8 years and my house is mine.
Or not depending on the political spectrum in 8 years
