An interesting article and also suggests that Tavernier is not good enough for the PL. To me I think this is a situation where if we signed Morelos he would either be a Suarez like sensation (albeit with controversy), or he would be a healthy dose of insanity and we'd be left asking 'what the f**k was that?' before slagging off Freedman for signing him! He doesn't strike me as a player which will blend into the background and I like that (especially given our current boring performances)

I wonder what his agenda could be. Tavernier would be a great right back to sign for most prem sides outside the top 7 or so, and would definitely be an upgrade for Palace, but think he's more than happy to captain Rangers right now and wouldn't necessarily jump at the chance to play in the prem anyway. As for Morelos - last season his discipline was a huge question mark and probably too much of a gamble for teams in the prem to spend big on, but he has completely screwed the nut this season, and has taken his game up another level in the process. Think he's only received something like 5 bookings in 25 games, has already completely bullied good sides like Feyenoord & Porto in the Europa league, and is receiving recognition/praise from his national side too. I don't believe it would be possible to sign a better striker than Alfredo Morelos for ｣20 million. Edited by Fabi05 (06 Nov 2019 11.38am)

Personally I think we should go for it, pay what's required and get this lad in...

This again. We値l be linked, we値l procrastinate, we値l low ball a ridiculous offer that Rangers will deem insulting, we値l then leave it to the end of the window where rangers would rather sell to anyone but us due to our pissing about, so he値l be snapped up by a rival or stay where he is and we値l be thrown a rejuvenated Carlton Cole by Freedman, who reckons he has another great season in him. Having spent the last week in Scotland, rumours are rife that Rangers are back in the financial mire and could find themselves in administration again soon. If that is the case they have very few players who are real assets, their prized striker being one. There could be a bargain to be had here perhaps Edited by orpingtoneagle (17 Nov 2019 11.36pm)
