can't see palace signing anyone this summer seems like it's taken all summer to get a new RB AWB left 3 weeks ago and we are still fking about with a new RB our transfer policy is a joke every transfer window is the same wait until the last week and than strike just so we can save a few million pound what the hell have there done with the 50m they got from AWB

The AWB money has gone on keeping the club afloat. There is nothing for transfers unless we sell first.

Who's moaning? We're all perfectly happy now that our third choice goalie crisis is sorted. Roll on Everton - injuring our goalies won't work - teams will have to think of a different strategy when taking on the Eagles.

Let in six in his first and probably only outing in a palace shirt v Barnet. Nice signing. God help us please.

I am sure something will happen but whilst teams around us invest we sit still - as we always seem to do.
The forthcoming season could be our hardest yet and not for the first time I am very worried unless we get a few decent recruits in.

Last night I was engaged in a conversation with an A.Villa supporter who is very knowledgeable about football and has good contacts, and in his opinion the forthcoming season will be a testing time for us.

I informed him that he might have a different opinion at the end of the transfer window.

He has got a cheek, Aston Villa should be worried about them going back down.

25m for Mings, who Bournemouth deemed not good enough for the PL. Their top scorer has gone back to Chelsea. They have gone down Fulham route of recruitment as well. That went well last season didn't it.

I have been told today that we are showing a firm interest in Philip Billing from Huddersfield and may challange Bournemouth who have bid £12m.

Loads of names being banded about currently there will be signings just be paitient.

I think we've been patient Dazza. None of the names you've mentioned inspire much confidence either.

Newcastle are on the verge of announcing Joelinton apparently, we've been waiting 5 or 6 windows for an announcement like that and they've only just brought in a new manager!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Well it's been typically piss poor so far. Even if we suddenly sign Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar now they've only got 2 weeks to learn and adapt to the 'score a counter-attacking goal, spend the next 73 minutes packed in our own box defending' system.

Better be a bloody exciting transfer deadline day.

In previous windows I’ve been frustrated the team and managers haven’t had time to work together but now it’s inevitable (due to previous activity, strategies, or lack of), I’ve accepted it for what it was always going to be rather than kid myself for 2 and a half months.

I know this isn't a real suggestion but could you imagine how ineffective our team would be if we had our usual back 4, 4 CDM's behind the ball with no creativity and the 3 best players in the world all refusing to track back or ever pass to each other.

We'd actually get relegated with Messi/Ronaldo/Neymar haha.
