Best players from the ones without contract

Besiktas is a Top 50 in Europe club. It would finish in the Top 10 in Spain, Italy and Germany with players like Quaresma, Ljajic, Kagawa, Domagoj Vida, Ryan Babel etc. They would make a good squad in the PL too. Holtby wouldn't probably be wanted by Top 4 teams from Spain, Germany, Italy, France and Top 6 teams in England. That leaves 22 teams out of Top 50. The fact that Beskitas, a Champions League decent playing club, was the first of these to think of him, proves that they have a better scouting team than the others. And it should come as no surprise that many Presidents on the PL are idiots (Newcastle, Southampton, Burnley, Aston Villa etc)

The notion that this is because they don’t have the scouting capacity to identify Holtby is laughable. Let’s have some perspective here; he flopped at Spurs and then went down with Fulham. He went to Hamburg, who survived only by a relegation play off in his debut year, were a bottom half side in the couple of years to follow and finally went down in 17-18. He wasn’t even considered a key player during that time and still no one thought he was worth buying. When they finally went down to the second tier, still no one thought he was worth buying. When were these constant good seasons for 10 years you refer to?Because his CV is dog s***.

@EverybodyDannsNow, you're talking nonsense... How was he not a key player at Hamburg? He was the best player there, one of the only ones. Flop at Tottenham...ok. But not everyone can play ahead of Eriksen or Dele Alli. Zaha was considered a flop at United. The fact that you say no one in Spain or Italy etc wanted him is simply wrong. Like I explained before (if you bothered to read) Besiktas is a better team than any team in Spain and Italy from postition 10 downwards. I'd rather go to Besiktas than Rayo Vallecano or Valladollid or Leganes or SPAL or Cagliari or Lecce or Empoli. And I'll tell you one thing: these teams don't pay 30.000 a week to players!! By comparison, Martin Kelly played 13 for us last season and he’s a million miles from one of our best players. His first two seasons at Spurs were 12/13 and 13/14 - Dele only joined Spurs for the 15/16 season and Eriksen for 13/14, so those are quite disingenuous examples. Can you prove the bit in bold? Ie a team from Spain or Italy actually trying to sign him? Your personal preferences are irrelevant.

Svored 6 goals from midfield position, so wasn't at fault for Hambirg going down. Safe to say thatbof he had played more, things would have been different. Did Camarasa score 6 goals in ANY other top level season??! And yes, I can prove it: Read carefully the entire article.

Camarasa scored 5 in his first prem season - 17/18 is the only season in Holtby’s career when he’s scored more than 5. His record in the prem is 2 in 38. I read carefully the article - who were the sides from a top European league who tried to sign him? Cardiff are in the championship FYI. It’s interesting that their scouts managed to find him though, especially when all the Prem clubs couldn’t.

Read better. It mentions more appealing Premier League interest. These are the numbers of Holtby vs Camarasa. Enjoy. There really is nothing to say in favour of Camarasa. Camarasa's goals came only from attacking midfielder position, behind the striker, while Holtby has played attacking midfielder, left midfielder, central midfielder, right midfielder, all positions with success. When I said Holtby usually has these numbers, I was thinking overall goals+assists.
