My latest thinking is that the producers are preparing a spin off which makes sense. Leave Bond only and create a new character with all the equality and diversity that you want. As for the current row it's just a storm in a D cup.

We can believe a man using sex to get out of awkward situations, but a woman??? Impossible to believe... Seriously though, sounds like a 007 movie instead of a James Bond one... Meh, no reason it can't work but I don't think I would have watched it either way... I haven't even looked at the replies but have people started the 'but...but James bond is a man...' lines yet?

Mainly just some lines that made me laugh. I will say something relatively serious about Bond movies - I have always watched them, even the crap ones. I always thought them better when they tried to follow the books instead of just being plain silly.
