Thanks , No interviews just an open notice inviting candidates to a new work rota (Better) 28 applied 7 Selected from draw . No reason other than not drawn from hat . 5 successful candidates had recently started with company. Unsuccessful candidates had many years service .A union rep done draw ? But not a candidate,but wait for it he did pull out another union rep ?? We only have two reps .So as you see its a bit iffy to say the least but thanks for your input

Maybe not apart from the loyalty issue which someone mentioned before dose not exist anymore.But as I said before it just doesn’t seem right practice that some one can roll up to a new job and get a plum rota via a lucky dip at the expense of long service employees .
