I would agree and say it is non-existent, DF thinks scouting means bob-a-job week!

Got to be honest, Im loving it at the moment. OK like everyone we have banter pre and during game. Why no Cameras? Why not bring on Meyer earlier? Imagine the two of them together with Luka. Then Wilf Ayew and Rocket man.

Rumour has it, that Camarassa is a bit of a prime donna/ bad boy and not settling in well. Roy isn’t going to disrupt his team with players he doesn’t trust. If that story holds up, I’d send him straight on his way, couldn’t agree more with Roy’s decisions in those circumstances.

Liverpool fans might disagree with you good point I admit - but was Sorloth one of Roy's? Jach and Rakip weren't, and the £2.5 mil for Ayew is looking like a bargain, Cahill and Roy have history, Meyer wasn't Roy's, McCarthy (Roy's I think), Camarasa (not sure!). Roy would have wanted a replacement for AWB … whatever we speculate it's clear that Roy's input in recruitment has been limited and recruitment has not been much good - finding solutions for clubs the size of Palace, West Brom and Fulham is way different to building a squad at a place like Anfield, and I'd wager Roy would be by far the best judge at this club to decide what personnel we need, I think the signings we've made during his time show his lack of input has had a detrimental effect on balance.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'I'm bored with Hodgson' by bexleydave Anyone else bored to death of Roy? He plays his favourites (Schlupp instead of Townsend) never changes or even tweaks his tactics no matter who we play, does not pick flair players (Meyer and Camarasa) and does not bring youngsters through (this has followed him throughout his career) Parish is happy because he knows Roy will still probably keep us safe in the (greed!) league which means Parish and the Americans can bide their time looking for the right people to eventually sell the club to, but in the meantime we stay bored to death!! Hopefully if the club is sold to an extremely wealthy individual or consortium, we can start planning for the future with a young ambitious manager full of ideas and who can bring out the best from what is a very talented squad of players

This post has been merged from a topic called 'I'm bored with Hodgson' by bexleydave I can can get very frustrated at him but I still think he is the best man for the job. It does my nut in that he plays Schlupp because he is one god damn awful player, but I can also see why he plays him because Townsend has a lot of flaws. I am not bothered by him not playing Meyer because he has shown us nothing and I won’t miss him when he’s gone. Camarrasa hasn’t had a chance yet soI won’t judge him. We will never know where we would be if he wasn’t our manager but in my opinion we would in a much worse position and possibly championship.
