Getting the feeling that they like a pound more than Roy

The club just doesnt seem to be able to get on the front foot either on or off the field.
We know we have a thin and ageing squad, we should have deals lined up from the off, instead we play timing games and miss deals.
On the field Glen Johnson summed it up, saying Roy used to send them out fearing the opposition.

We are very lucky to have him. Without Roy it may have only been 2 wins in 18. Forget staying up this season, it’s next year that scares the hell out of me. Oldest team another year on, potentially no Wilf, and the same old sh1t from Roy, with Dougie waiting in the wings.

In some ways I think we would be better going down, flushing out the Yanks, bringing in some kids and playing some decent football once again. Rolling it around across the back until we f**k it up is just so depressing to watch.

I just heard the old chap say we are in a relatively comfortable position in the league. I do believe he is losing his marbles.

We're a small club doing well in a big league.
