They often do the same stuff at every club they manage.

keep a stock of all these 'types' here....

For starters :

Alex Ferguson
- heavy dependence on wingers passing from the corner flag to awaiting strikers
- the constant badgering and disrespecting of referees by players and manager.
-

Jose Mourinho
- cheating and diving
- score the first goal and then park the bus
- big strong players
- play the same eleven players most of the time
- spu.nk big money on some useless clowns.

Rafa Benitez
- constantly rotate his squad players willy nilly

Roy keane
- fight with everybody and get the sack.

Neil Warnock
- kick the ball high into the air and allow players to jostle and jockey for the headers.
- manager to abuse the referee during and after the game.

Tony Pulis
- boring conservative football. Defend , defend.

Big Sam allardyce
- do a good job and then scarper off to another club.

brendan rogers
- strong on attack and with a leaky defence.

what others ?

Klopp - high pressing and fist pumping. A few smiles for the media.

Howe - overly attacking, no real defence to speak of.

Dyche - hardworking, cheap English players. Presume he shouts his team talks.

Tempted to include Hodgson but don't want to be disrespectful.

Hodgson - brilliant brilliant brilliant and a gentleman to boot.

Manuel Pellegrini - always refuse to challenge/discuss the referee no matter what a C...ttenburg they were.

Arsene Wenger - poorly motivated players who were formally excellent and always somehow go off the boil.
-taka taka tippee tappee passing game
- good teams that lack that killer instinct to beat the best.
- quite forgiving of underperforming 'stars'

Diego Simeone
- abuse the referee and get sent up to the stands.
- 4 4 2 formation no matter what.

Nearly got sick in my mouth. This is sycophancy to another level. I bet you were one of the Super Al lot right until the very end.

I too got sudden palpitations, the onset of a migraine and a rush of blood from my anus at the grotesque positivity expressed towards Mr Hodgson

Micky Adams - close knit low quality 4th tier side who declines Peter Taylor-like into a losing machine shambles

Mick McCarthy - see above but replace 4th tier with 2nd tier

Mark Hughes - hires over priced gifted foreigners who will take the piss bcos they'll use whatever middle of the road club he's at as a stepping stone, constant rotation and changes of tactics offset by individual quality popping up with results in tight games enough to occupy the 'Palace' space between midtable and relegation battle before inexorable decline sets in and he's sacked

Aidy Boothroyd - makes Warnock looks like Pep, neck craining route 1 with violence and no knowledge of football, should be working in garage, chip shop or farm, one way ticket to sh*t football and failure with complete lack of awareness of his miserable northern cr*pness

I'll make myself a liar for nobody, let alone some deluded oaf on an internet forum who constantly displays their complete lack of understanding on all matters football (but especially Palace) related at every opportunity.

This made me chuckle. I'd add about Mark Hughes the added wow factors of 1) the complete mystery of how he keeps getting employment and 2) what an absolute arsehole he is when you see his touchline antics in real life. Got to be the worst behaved manager I've ever witnessed.

Aidy Boothroyd should have been called Andy but his parents weren't good at spelling. Should be sacked by England after our pathetic performances with an excellent squad.
He obviously thought if you just chuck eleven players on to the pitch they will work it out. And then if you completely change your line out because you lost you would get a different outcome.
Vanarama beckons.

It's worrying that 1) his CV was deemed good enough to qualify him for an important, senior developmental position in elite world sport and 2) that despite sounding semi-lucid in interviews (at least on the same hymn sheet as Southgate) that what gets deployed on the pitch is absolutely nowhere near the organisation's mission statement!

Another jobs for the boys situation. Bet he tips up at Palace in some role or other. Manager probably. Luckily he's never played for us.
