The Townsend-Wilf partnership worked well for one game. We need an actual striker, that should be clear by now.

we went ten games unbeaten in hodgsons first season with wilf and Andros upfront , it has worked well for many games.

It doesn’t work for long enough and a big reason it worked when the effect wore off was RLC.

I agree, the Spiderman team looks good for some entertaining football, however not sure it would produce a lot of goals.

So much dead wood there it could be classed as a fire hazard

There doesn't seem to be much excitment about the signing of Camarassa but he is a class act and he is something we were screaming out for last season. I am a big fan of Jimmy Mac but his days are numbered, his lack of pace is really starting to get him found out at this level.

Bar Meyer the rest of our midfield players are hopeless passers of the ball which was so frustrating last season so hopefully this is the guy to change that for us.

I’ll get excited if and when he passes his medical and if and when his signing is confirmed and announced officially by the club, until then it’s not a done deal.

He is stronger than Meyer, won’t be so easy for oppositions to pressure out of the game.
Max, is very talented but he has got to cope better in tight situations. He doesn’t retain the ball well enough, throughout 90minutes.
That was his problem last season, and the reason, he was only really effective , as a sub.

My God, everyone's an expert these days.
I wonder if Roy has been on the phone to you for some advise, you certainly have all the answers.
Meyer needed a season to bed into the Premiership. FFS even Thiery Henry needed that!
Meyer imo will be one of our best players this year. He will cope fine in 'tight situations' Jeez
