We demonstrated all the frailties and shortcomings that we showed for the most part of last season at home. But we shouldn't be surprised - it was the same set of players with the same manager and with the same ideas. The next few days on the transfer market are going to be critical.

it's only a friendly game we have players coming in we need 12 at least and palace never learn should of done this at the beginning of July and the new players would of had time to gel instead until 5 days before the new season starts

Serves me right for going to a friendly I suppose, but be very afraid people, I know it was only a friendly blah blah, we’ve got players to come back blah blah and SP might surprise us in the transfer market this week, but we look awful.

never heard so much sh#t talked by so many it's a friendly for f#cm sake we won all our friendlies and went down so come back to the real world we will be better when it matters

I think it’s you that must be on another planet if you think this performance and team is nothing to be concerned about.

Has a manager ever been sacked for such a poor pre-season? Maybe time for a first. But have the board supported him? I think not. However having been at the game, I can find no excuses not to use the subs until 80 minutes (except Hennessey) what is the point? Berlin used 8 subs
