I have been hoping we would sign Llorente - he is no spring chicken but I saw him give an excellent display for Spurs only this year.

What is there to lose?

Thousands in wages which we do not appear to have or want to part with

Is Balotelli still on a free as well. We need fullbacks too. Simpson and Olson?

Would def take Sturtidge, brilliant player without the injuries. I believe im right in saying his fitness was good last season and made around 30 match day squads.

I'm sure Balotelli went to a club in Brazil, but his as mad as a box of frogs anyway.

I'd definitely take Sturridge,I feel the chance Meyer and Ayew missed yesterday Sturridge would've scored them.

Llorente all day long ! Sturridge is to injury prone even for us , plus it’s well documented that he wants a £5m signing on fee hence why no one has come in for him !

God saves all but Zaha nets the rebounds !

I'd take a chance on Sturridge he was in the England squad what 2 years ago?

He's different to what we have and would offer a different dimension to our attacking play..!!

If we can get him on a reasonable package on a year contract definitely worth a gamble..!!

Why aren't other teams knocking on his door then? If he wants to play Premiership football then maybe he'll have to take what's offered given lifeline afforded to his career. I doubt Palace would leave any first team player needing financial recompense elsewhere. Furthermore, great incentive would be to bring in performance top up arrangement by way of goals scored.

One year deal
50k a week and bonuses depending if we stay up and what position we end in.
Goals scored might lead to selfish play.
Then offer a bit more next season if all works out.
If not go back to the agency.
There will be different players released each and every season.
Maybe that is the way as Roy wont be here and a new manager might want to make changes.
Maybe the big push will be next summer with Jose

Decent players, but I'd rather have Ribery than any of those from the ones without contract and use Zaha as center forward.

Ribery would be pleasing on the eye and could still do a job in the PL but we need a goal scorer. Wilf is not a centre forward and is not great playing with his back to goal. I actually think Ribery would be a good short term replacement for Wilf if he disappears in January.

In the interim, get Wilf back on the wing where he should be and find a forward that knows where to be at what time. Benteke clearly doesn’t.
