You don't need 100% for complete control, 51% will give you compete control, you can't then be out voted for anything you want to do, I once had 49% of a company, apart from dividends it might as well have been 1% and I didn't have a say in the amount of dividends.

I agree but I also agree with ME. I personally do not think anyone would buy the club and not want 100%, otherwise they are, surely, just investors.
I previously said on here that, I heard from someone who has good contacts at the club (I know this sort of comment gets slammed on here) that there had been 1 serious buyer but they wanted 100% but SP was not prepared to give it all up.
This is not a let's slam SP comment but I do wonder if he has taken the club as far as he can (financially) and maybe, as a fan, he should consider selling if we are to progress

My reading is the opposite as it says that up to 90% is for sale which implies that Parish wants to hang on to a shareholding which is why I don't think he will find a buyer.

No wealthy buyer will pay that amount for a shareholding and pump tens of millions into the club on top of that without having complete control

My understanding is that Parish also wants to stay on in his current role, i.e. running the club . That could be a potential stumbling block

I'd personally say "will be", Neillo.

As an investment, CPFC is not attractive for a number of reasons:

Premier League football has been in a bubble for many years. At some point it will burst.
Palace are at a level now they are unlikely to sustain. There really is only one way to go and that’s downwards. No one wants to buy at the top.
The football business model has been flawed for years, with most of the money now being syphoned out of the game by player wages. As with bitcoin the bubble has only been fuelled by an influx of foreign investment from dubious sources.
If Ashley can’t sell Newcastle then there is little hope for Palace.
As for Palace it’s infrastructure is crumbling, it’s squad is ageing, as is its reliable Manager. It will all require huge investment. That’s all well and good it you can guarantee a return, but we all know that is impossible.

So unless we unearth some foreign billionaire who wants to launder his cash for the next decade, Abramovic style, it won’t happen.

I can think of at least 3 people who will demand links to prove 51% is a majority and then argue that it isn't. Because they say so.

I think it will, despite the stumbling blocks.
