Talking out your arse. Our best ever player and you want to start the season by digging him out despite the fact that he has as yet done nothing wrong. He hasn’t gone on strike and hasn’t skipped training. He wanted his move to materialise and handed in a transfer request which was denied. Big deal.

I wouldn’t say he’s done nothing wrong because he handed that TR inwith 24 hours to go. He’s let his team act like a bunch of cvnts and all this has put our season at risk. However, we need him (because we can’t manage without him or the cash to replace him), and he needs us. This is reality, football and business.

Cvnting him off would be suicidal. I won’t be singing his name, unless he reaches extraordinary heights, and I won’t be digging him out.

I don’t expect a problem with him with the football until January, yet a tiny minority want a problem to potentially relegate us. Only at Palace. I expect about 30 people to boo him today if his name is announced or he comes on. I don’t think it will be very noticeable that some don’t clap or cheer his name or arrival because thousands will. Possibly an equal divide.

It’ll be business as usual but some want the drama which WILL bring very bad performances we can’t afford. But carry on.
