Because that's how many players played on average 50 minutes or more for Palace in all games last year. Look it up.

45 games means 4000 minutes. 50 minutes per game means around 2300 minutes.

And this was mentioned as a figure for Ribery that was supposed tonmean he played little. It's not really little to play 50 minutes on average of all games.

You might want to check your maths. Bayern played 49 games last season and Ribéry played for 1935 minutes total. That is 39.489 minutes per match.

If, that is, you are actually comparing like with like. Clearly, based on the selection of numbers, you are not.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

Yeah my number was based purely on the games he played in last year for Bayern in the league and Champions League, not every game over the course of the season.

Our wingers, Townsend and Zaha averaged 79 and 89 minutes respectively.

The point is, Ribery was once a great player but at 36 he's not someone I would bring in on those wages when you aren't convinced he still has the legs and his recovery time at that age in a league that is much more intense, fast paced and physical than the Bundesliga, is too much of a risk for me.

Well, I for one, am exactly that- convinced. Just because Ribery played last season for a team like Bayern a little less than Townsend and Zaha played for Palace doesn't mean in a mid-table club he can't still help.

I have just bumped into Frunck whilst on holiday in Marbados and he told me he does't want to join Palace. The strange thing is that I didn't even ask him. He just walked up and told me. I think it was because he feels threatened by the amount of beautiful people around South London. If only I still kept that picture of Iain Dowie in my wallet.

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.

With out Matteo this site would be avery sad place, long live Matteo.

There are three T's in Mattteo, so if you're a fan get it right

Personally, I play Football Manager on laptop and also own FIFA 19 on XBOX, so I don't consider his 'insight' any more than someone who doesn't get out much. There's a direct correlation between my football knowledge and when I do or don't have a girlfriend.

Anyone that's played the first 4 seasons on FM could predict, with an authoritative tone, all those worth a look at in the real world, because the scouting on the game is very, very good. I'm not knocking the resource - it's an incredible database - but don't pass the knowledge off as info sourced yourself, like you're glued to the internet watching football matches across the globe 24/7. How else could your average person living on the Isle of White confirm the monthly wage of an obscure mid-table Bundesliga player?

If you'd like some insight, sign these players:

Cristian Pavon £3.5m 24 y.o RW
Hirving Lozano £15m 24 y.o IF
Neal Maupay £7m 22 y.o CF
Jack Clarke £5.25m 18 y.o IF
Zinho Vanheusden £24m 19 y.o CB
Tyler Adams £11m 20 y.o DM
Jonathan Panzo £8m 18 y.o LB
Gabriel Barbosa £Can't remember 23 y.o IF

If you do this and play 4-2-3-1 with inverted wingers and you'll qualify for the Champions League in 19/20.

Job done
