Seriously though. There's not enough Colgate in the world to stop your breath smelling of s***. Never witnessed such unashamed arse licking.

Then when I say you may better understand that on which you post if you actually saw the situation first hand you accuse me of 'fan shaming'. Another of your silly labels.

'Fan shaming' isn't a label, it's a description.....it would have to end in 'er'.

Yes, I suppose I do 'shame' you a bit for not moving your seat......A bit....but to each their own....there is no crime here.

And yes, this is a bloke giving a second hand opinion....I accept that.

Good for you, would you like a medal? You're entitled to your opinion, and to be fair you tend to speak a lot of sense most of the time. Never had you pinned as one of these "I'm a better fan than you" crowd but there you go, you've let yourself down.

Did I say or insinuate that? I don't think so because I also do not buy into that way of thinking

I thought the Ultras were brilliant. Made loads more noise than ever. Look fantastic.
From the Arthur they sounded much louder than before.
Keep building it lads. If we could get another 200 or 300 on board we will be like LOs Blancos behind goal section only louder.
You get the whole stadium going. Imagine what it will be like in unexciting game.
Well done Homesdale. Bring it on.

Interesting hearing the praise for the HF I thought they were a bit lacklustre, I too would have liked to have seen a bit more of a spectacle before/from kick off.

I do have to state however I’m not close in proximity to them and there wasn’t much to get them going. I did think though there would be a bit more hostility towards Everton however.

I’ve always tread a fine line between being quite proud of them and occasionally embarrassed by the whole thing but they get my respect as I don’t have the energy for it.

Not really much of a post but interesting always too see other people’s take on them.

Also, am I correct in assuming the ‘Apple Watch’ post was a mickey take? Genuine question

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Why? They tried to buy a quality player, what is wrong with that? I spoke to 2 Everton fans before the game, it seems they only made 1 bid (£52 million). Apparently Kenwright and Parish are on very good terms, Kenwright accepted that they had not met Palace's valuation. He got extremely annoyed by the media/Zaha's camps circus who were intent on spreading rumours.
Can't actually see Everton did anything wrong but am open to persuasion

The concept of the singing section was surely to encourage the likeminded singers to congregate/stand together, and let those who prefer to watch the technicalities do so without a drum in their ear.

I wasn’t there yesterday but sounds like a success. I was in there for the Grimsby and Spurs games last season and they were two of my most enjoyable Palace days in the 19 years I’ve been going. Personally I’d take a good sing/atmosphere over an entertaining match in silence, But that’s just me.

Displacing loyal fans was a tough thing to do, but it is a progressive move with some short term pain for those effected. The size of the waiting list to get in there suggests that it’s a popular move - I’d expect it to be extended again when the new stand is built.

The HF have their faults with some of their behaviour, but on the whole they do a cracking job of getting the crowd going and that can only be seen as a positive for the club.

It’s here now, let’s all try to support the concept and make it even better.

Whenever I have been to Selhurst, the atmosphere is generated by what happens on the pitch. The basic chants of Eeeeeagles and Red and Blue army which come from all sides generally come regardless of what hf are singing and usually against it.

I understand your point completely but I was going more on the argument of the angry football fan than the level headed diplomat.

The whole situation has caused quite an upset for us and they were major players there. Essentially a team not that much better then us tried to buy our most important player.

I watched live on tv on Bein sports on Saturday and have to admit the sound of the crowd didn’t come through that great. Admittedly I had to try and listen for it through the inane ranting of same Arab commentators but nevertheless it didn’t sound as loud as last year.

I reckon we should have microphones in the LH and Arthur playing out of speakers in the away area. That’ll liven things up a bit.

From the link that I was watching, it did not come across very noisy as compared with when the hf were established in the corner.
When the camera was on the singing section, you could see them singing but couldnt hear them.

A clear example of the mics being turned down. they were very vocal, Everton were pathetic running out the staid 'everton' chant for no more than 20 secs at a time..they gave up trying to outsing us after the first 15mins!

So did it make any difference, louder?

Anyone on here in it?

Turns out we stand literally next to the drums. My ears really hurt.

My initial thoughts are they need to work out how to get the rest of the stadium joining in.

I suggested when the singing section was originally mooted that they should do the same in the Arthur next and then the Whitehorse
