What a surprise. Actually I don't think he's ready for a full cap just yet.

The very fact Wan-Bissaka has been picked in the England squad shows how biased the whole National setup really is.
He's played 3 games for United, of which 2 of them have been bang average performances.
Yet his form for us was ridiculous, but "he wasnt ready".

I wish the England team was picked from the best performing English players from the League, not just the biggest names.

Happens too often to be defended in any way. Mind you I don't think he's ready for a full cap yet.

Why are any of you surprised? I look at it as extra value to the sell on value when Ole gets the sack and the new manager sells him.

Ive not been surprised since Wilf was repeatedly ignored.

I reckon we could've got a few more quid out of United if he was a full England International though.. maybe someone at United had a word with Southgate and told him to hold off... Love a conspiracy.

Sensible to not repeat the mistake made with Zaha.

Get him tied down to England and then perhaps it can be a Clemance/Shilton situation at right back which can only be beneficial for England.

He didn’t get picked in the summer because they wanted him st the U21 tournament - I suspect it would’ve played out the same whether we sold him or not.

The inclusions of Mings, Rice, Maddison, Wilson suggests it’s not a club thing - Walker has also been dropped, and he’s a regular at the champions...

There are a raft of younger players in the squad from outside the top 6 so I don't actually think your argument stands up.

So predictable wasnt it.

So utterly predictable.

Southgate has done a lot well but the selection process still stinks to high heaven and AWB is now a textbook example.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Not sure i used the term top 6?
Palace are unfashionable, regardless of how our players perform, for example..

- AWB last season

- Wilf Zaha 2-3 year period leading up to him picking Ivory Coast

- Jason Puncheon of 2013 - 2015

- Scott Dann of 2014 - 2015

Leicester are outside the Top 6, but are always talked about as this great club, however they never quite live up to the media hype (minus winning the league incredibly).

Bournemouth are another one, despite quite regularly finishing below us, Eddie Howe and his "plucky" Bouremouth side can do no wrong in the eye of the media.

Palace sit third behind City & Liverpool in points gained in the last 18 games (thats pretty much half a season).
How many media/pundits have you heard talk about that? Instead I read the Sky and BBC predictors each week predict we will lose regardless of who we're playing.

So far this season, we have 4 points after 3 games, and its been widely remarked that we've had a poor start, however Brighton, Burnley, Bournemouth & West Ham in the eyes of some pundits have had decent starts, yet also sit on 4 points.

As mentioned previously, we are unfashionable.
