Very depressing and the team lacked desire!

As said previously, we should’ve known how Sheffield were going to play tactically.

Roy plays zaha up top when this clearly didn’t work last season.

He brings on Wickham 10 minutes too late and I have to say - Dann and his constant backwards passing and the teams inability to be creative is really very worrying.

Hopefully they watch the whole game as a squad and put the rights wrong moving forward with Man Utd!

Missing the Beast at the back, as he is our only defender that will take the ball out. We gave the midfield up as we were too defensive. Think Camarasa had a knock/not ready but whether he would of played is another question. ManUre next week it will be the same midfield and we will be under the cosh for most of the match. Cannot see us getting anything there or scoring after today. Think we have the Spuds a game after that and could well be flitting with the relegation places/in them after 5 games.

Zaha will never play for a top team. The likes of Eveerton are as good as it will get for him. He can never do the simple thing and is a pure liability at times.

I agree about Benteke, he done absolutley nothing wrong today but that service was abysmal. We need a complete change in personel and tactics.

Benteke could have got stuck in far more than he did. A bit like the opposition players did. Maybe he could learn from their example as none of ours are breaking into a sweat.

If there can be a positive dragged kicking and screaming from that dross it is that Sheffield utd only beat us 1-0.
If that was their best then they are in danger.
As we know palace can play miles better.
I just cross fingers we will start to.

Agree about Zaha. Never in a million years a top 4 player , as was proved when he put himself on offer and none of the top 4 came in for him. Then arsenal ‘his club’ payed 50% more for the other Ivory Coast winger than what they offered for Zaha.
He nicked a wage today. Rowing with some two bob Sheff Utd center back for the entire match. Saw him do that 10 years ago at the Den against Alan Dunn. He hasn’t learned/grown up, not intelligent enough for the top level. Give me John Salako instead of Wilf everyday of the week.

The Roy Hodgson school of making the same mistake over and over again.

Wilf needs to be on the wing
Benteke need early crosses
Roy needs to retire.

Can you blame wilf for wanting to leave?

I fully agree IMO Benteke did not work hard enough, he did not hold the ball so others would make space around him and he was poor in the air against defenders who were last season playing in the championship. This result sums up the progress this team is not making and the mess that Parish et-al have got us in to again!

What the hell do you think people could possibly make of that sh1t show today. Clueless tactics, uninspired players. The manager has to take some blame for that so get off your high horse. You are no better than anyone else on here who feels robbed by that performance.

Spot on. Sheffield United are clearly being coached better than we are. If that isn't the manager and the coaches fault whose is it ?

This I agree with, to my knowledge he didn't jump for a hoofed ball once, defenders beat him everytime.

Also agree that our service to him is on par with sunday league(tho that's prob a disservice to SL)

This is up there with the worst iv seen in last few years.

Totally agree, been a long while since such a bad performance throughout 90 minutes that I’ve watched in this prem run. Couldn’t believe that Hodgson didn’t Change the tactics. Or perhaps I can on some of last seasons matches? It was crying out to get the back four further upfield. They were to deep leaving huge gaps between midfield and forwards? Sheffield are not a good prem team (yet) and we were far worse than them. Badly need Tompkins and Sakho back to play football out of defence. The two at the moment can’t do this and that plus them playing to deep screwed us up. With that said the players in front of them were also poor, continuously not being able to control or pass the ball? Awful performance that needs sorting quick.
