Watching Man Utd last night my main worries are that this season they are using very quick and nimble forwards in Martial, Rashford and James which given the lack of pace in our back four could be a big issue. AWB did look unsure of where he should be at times and if we could get Wilf on the wing I think we might actually get some joy on the counter, similarly on the other side with Shaw cantering forward all the time. Given the height at the back for United personally I would be tempted to play Ayew up top who would at least work hard and run the channels, rather than trying to hit long balls for Maguire to dominate.

They are a very young side finding their way, so it is probably better to play them now than in a few months, but at Old Trafford it seems hard to see us getting anything. I expect an improved and dogged performance but a 2-0 defeat.

My biggest fear is their pace also, they will give our back 4 an absolute torrid time. Martial and Shaw ganging up on Ward doesnt bare thinking about.

Wilf will shape up for a few minutes, 4-1 to them though

We’ve got bigger fish to fry, Colchester!!

Dire performance against Sheffield, the side that has been written off by many as certainties for the drop.
Many, including Captain Luka are fearing the worst for this fixture.
This is an opportunity to show the world what we are made of and that we will not lay down and die to the supposed avalanche of goals.

3-1 to them. And that is being optimistic.

On one Hand, we rarely get battered - it's RH's only strength at the moment.
On the other, we appear to be playing our 4th And 5th place CBs (cahill will be in front of SD and MK - but I dont think he's had enough time with the squad to step up YET, hopefully he has by this Weekend)

I actually think we'll score, as they'll give us more space to play, and have fairly new backline.

If Cahill plays, 1-1 ManU, with an outside chance of a win, if Not 3-1 to ManU.

I just hope RH doesn't go too defensive, Sticks with Meyer, and has Camarasa as at least an option from The bench.

Typical Manchester scoreline - 5-0. And the quick United-players will have a ball against our pedestrians.
Hope at least we see Caracas (know wrong spelling, but our Spanish newcomer), Ayew, Cahill and McCarthy in the line-up. But Roy H probably picks Schlupp and McArthur and a certain Belgian "striker".

All very concerning, but hardly Roy's fault that the idiots in charge of the club failed to reinvest the AWB sale proceeds back into the purchase of a decent striker etc, rather than offering their usual lame excuses that targets were not available or offered at silly, inflated prices.

I predict a rout 4-0 all one way traffic and no shots on target yet again

If that result and performance against Sheffield United doesn’t stir some sort of reaction from the players, then nothing will.

We will lose, but it’s the performance that matters most. I can handle losing as long as you feel the players have put in a shift. The fans will support the team to the moon and back as long as they see the players giving it 100%.

It depends which Palace turn up. Man. Utd are nothing special but if we play like we did Sunday we could get murdered.
