I don't know why the big Manchester clubs won't help them out. I hope someone saves Bury.

The EFL have yet to approve the owner and haven't started the fit and proper process due to lack of source of funds evidence.

Also great PR for them. Maybe the Premier League could help too. I've no idea on the rules, but perhaps not allowed?

I hope they are saved but the owner seems to be the issue so until he steps aside I doubt anybody is going to rescue the club for his benefit.

From what I understand, the new owner has not provided proof of means to the EFL and so has not got the golden share. A number of his companies are dissolved and his abilty to pass a fit and proper looks a challenge. And they have until tomorrow!

I just find it ironic that a useless player like Sanchez's wages for a month could buy Bury FC and put them through a couple of seasons. And he is absolutely useless. This is just madness - and I expect to see more in the near future. The league just doesn't seem to matter anymore. How long until the big sides cosy up and leave the rest out of Europe? The FA needs to grow a pair but won't.
