Dad turns 80 on Sept 26th, so flying over to take him to see the Norwich game.

Went to see them at Watford a few years back, luckily for me, as i because of the Watford memberships i had to buy just to get some tickets, meant i was able to buy a couple of Wembley tickets for the semi the same year.

Anywho. Whats my best parking option for the ground ? bearing in mind the old geezer is 80, and we are driving up from Devon. Or is there a park near a train station option and take the train in ?

Thanks in advance.

They're still trying to sell the leftover pies from your last visit.

Has he got a disabled badge at all? If so easy to park in Sainsbury’s car park. Alternatively, get there early before they close the car park to general public and hope you don’t get a ticket.

Alternatively, contact the club, explain the situation and see if they will give you a space in the hospitality car park. You never know they might even throw in a ticket if you lay it on thick enough!

You can always park in nearby roads, again if you get there early enough.

Maybe i shouldn't have written that post, what with my user name.

If your dad can walk from Norwood Junction station, about .75 mile,I always get the train from Anerley station(1 stop).Always loads of free street parking at Anerley.

With our home form, it’s safer than watching the football

My dad's nearly that age and I'd park some place allowing me to get him to Selhurst or Norwood Junction...assuming I couldn't get parking near the ground. Your probably looking at 3/4 of a mile...obviously if your pa has any health issues, you might want another solution. Maybe just arrive early and park nearby.
