Sam Woods is the most recent, but it got me thinking of others who actually went to the games...

John Bostock
Steve Kember
David Payne

David Payne is an absolute legend and an unsung hero of this club. He truly is one of our own, in every sense, and remains a fan to this day. In the age of the mercenary how we could do with another David Payne in our ranks.

He didn't play for Palace though, but get your drift. Was Clinton Morrison a boyhood fan?

I believe that was part of the reason he came back to us from Birmingham

He says it was because his mum kept nagging him to go back, he never looked happy at Birmingham.

That would have been quite difficult when he had to look at old Pie Face every day.

Amazed no one's said Puncheon. And he almost scored the winner in the cup final. His career literally peaked in the 82nd minute of that match, downhill ever since.

Clinton was a Spurs fan, but I suspect he is now closer to Palace

He went on to be a fishmonger after he stopped playing.
