Villa were unlucky there.....and we have had quite a slice of luck.....looked like one of those debatable decisions....if there was a foul it was outside of the box and it was the slightest of touches.....not sure that he dived but there you go.

Good for us.....three points and we were the better side.

Should have changed things after the sending off really and we got lucky in the end.
I just hope this is Roy's last season

My opinion of the game:

Great Aye has scored again. It'll be a boost if he is in form all season.
Benteke... always offside and doesn't bring much even when subbed on.
Palace need to stop going to sleep in the final minutes.
I hope our attacking prowess improves as 1-0 vs Villa with 10 men isn't setting the world alight as well as us being lucky not to draw 1-1.

Roy's tactics nullified Villa entirely with our midfield trio shutting down their creativity. Probably should have made a more offensive change earlier on after the sending off, but in the end he continues to provide us with points. Third best team in England over the last half a season! Unbelievable really.

We probably got lucky with the Grealish "dive" but I don't think anyone can argue we were the better team. Zaha looking much, much better today, which is a big positive.
