I think it's exciting waiting for the decision it'll soon become part of the game and will become quicker, everyone wants the right outcome. Eventually linesmen will not have the job of deciding offside, it'll all be computerised.

It’s what everyone wanted, wrong refereeing decisions being corrected. If it means having to wait a little while while they review it then surely it’s worth it. Look how long it takes to review an LBW in cricket.

In terms of "Close offside decisions" I have had a view
propounded that there should certain parameters in play to rule out very marginal decisions for incidents which could not possibly be seen by the naked eye. In cricket if an umpire does not award an LBW,his decision can stand even if ball tracking deems the ball would have hit the stumps but only just clipped them ie a certain % of the ball would have to hit the stumps for the decision to be over-turned.But of course this can open up a further debate apropos introducing such parameters into the VAR arena.Well done to VAR on Saturday !!!!
