She could end up on the wrong end of the whole deal, especially from her own lawyers.

Ouch.

Serve her right.

While I don't think think most in that family are bad people - charity work for example. I do think they are products of their time. Over time I've come to realise that the Monarchy are just a support chorus for whatever time they exist in mimicking the culture. It's just another institution that will say anything and pretty much do anything to stay in place.

I think that the whole problem with the royal family is that they dont stand for anything anymore. Their (public) views are fed to them by the PR people to appease the woke and avoid bad media.

That said, I think they still are a good ambassadors for the country, and do good work with the various charities.

Their whole life is played out in public - which lets face it, wouldn't show anyone in a good light - and with the exception of a couple of dodgy family members, have done pretty well all things considered.

Eh? The deal will have included legal fee arrangements. And why would her getting nothing serve her right?

If HRH hadn’t trashed her he would certainly have paid less. Should have given her respect and not a stiff arm.

A stiff arm! How novel

Support for diversity, equality, inclusion, green issues, anti racism and all the other 'woke' middle and higher class fantasies and ideologies that identify the 'woke' are all on easy display from both Charles, William and Ginger....it's a joke, the monarchy wouldn't even exist if those ideologies were followed.

Even the Queen compared this generation with the war generation in terms of greatness....not woke perhaps but total bullsh1t.

I don't disagree, but think of the sort of s***e who would be elected head of state? In that context, a largely figurehead, constitutional monarchy doesn't seem too bad.

An elected head of state would be cringe....also throwing away that history is modernistic vandalism.

However, whereas in the past I thought they stood for something, now I just see them as a distraction.

I'd say that's a pretty good summary.

However, as I am sure you know, removing them would not be a straightforward task. They have far more power than they use nowadays. Don't forget who is head of the Church of England.

If I were in charge I'd probably change something but one thing is for sure, I wouldn't have an elected head of state.....cronyism is even more irritating.
