1 - Shipperley's goal in the play off final - I was 4 rows back behind the goal - it all happened in slow motion.
2 - John Terry's own goal - because of the instant chorus of "scoring goals for Palace" and the look on his face as he scuttled to the team bus after the match.
3 - Lombardo. V leeds (including Hopkin and Martyn) in 1997.
Close 4th would be Zaha making an absolute fool of David Luis @ stamford bridge a couple of years ago.

4 playoff finals, Claridge, Hopkin, Shipperley, Phillips....

Life's never dull!

First game Reading when I was about 8, Burnley, and Everton in the ZDS - the only time I've seen us win at Wembley.

Actually the ZDS final was a cracking day, and a brilliant atmosphere, and it was a bit special to win at the old Wembley after the heart break of losing the FA cup final replay the year before.

In no particular order.
1979 versus Burnley - near 60,000 people packed into Selhurst Park as we win to get promotion.
Beating Brighton in the play-offs to get to the play-off final in 2013.
My first ever game back in the 1960's - if only I could remember who we were playing!
The wonder of walking in to the arena (it wasn't great then) for the first time as a 7 year old was incredible!

Lots of great games / moments mentioned on this thread but as a kid I remember Peter Taylor curling a freekick for Dave Swindlehurst to head home at Elland Road in the 76 cup run. At the time Leeds were the major force in the English game, and Peter Taylor run rings round them that day.
More recently I recall doing a conga at Carlisle when Doris scored in a 4-1 defeat.
But for me it was the Watford Playoff Final as it was the first time my sons had been to Wembley. When Kevin Phillips scored and we held on to win it was tremendous. In fact that whole season was brilliant as it was unexpected.

Villa Park 4-3 v Liverpool. Even though I had to pay some kids to look after my tyres during the game.

I would agree with all of the above except I wasn't at Villa Park watched it on the telly so not sure that counts.

My 3rd would be the play-off against the Spam at Cardiff. Checked into the hotel which was miles outside Cardiff only to find it was rocking with Palace fans that was a great night.
