So much fanciful speculation. Don't get too excited, but Batshuayi is incoming. I just made that up, but realistically, a far more likely signing than some of the nonsense banded around on here.

He has started today as has Mings so perhaps they've all kissed and made up. BTW I'm not one of those saying no to Watkins, just that his goal-scoring record last season was no better than those of our two strikers and the likely price would be more than we could afford. I wouldn't be forking out £30m+ for him as we have more important needs in midfield. The idea we could get Watkins for £10m or even £20m is IMHO laughable, but I would take him at any price between £10m and £20m were that possible (but it's not IMO).

I agree about his record and our strikers are fine it's the service/tactics which are the issue (Wilf for example wants all the glory he is suppose to be providing the service for others yet loses the ball over 90% off the time and very poor at putting in balls) If we really did want him it would either be a loan with a fee of a few million or as you said close to 25-30m the 10m is laughable Benteke just transferred for around 6m. With two assists he is putting himself out there maybe the rumors are true this tends to happen with players they upper it to gain interest.
