It's going to be a massive own goal for them if they disrupt the tube, DLR and overground, these are the most efficient way of getting around London and if they are disrupted people will get in their cars, thus defeating the object of their aim. I think they're running out of ideas of how to get their message across but disrupting public transport will turn a lot of people against their methods and lose them some support.

These reprobates have already conceded many own goals and quite frankly have lost public support on account of their deplorable behaviour. They have attracted bile like a rotten peach attracts wasps and I would have NO issue whatsoever if the Police adopted heavy-handed tactics against them.

I work in The City and have hardly noticed them. There was a gathering in Exchange Square on Monday not doing much and again a few at London Bridge on my way home yesterday. They didn't seem to be doing much either.

That's mildly interesting. Hundreds of commuters at Canning Town were being disrupted this morning, as were commuters at other 'east London underground stations'.

Absolutely appalling behaviour.
Darned curs who think they are above the law.

ER, a minority of people breaking the law and using mob rule to try and get their way. Now they are complaining they are victims of a minority of people breaking the law.....

You couldn't make it up.

Canning Town tube was not a good choice for middle-class protests. As the film footage showed this morning when demonstrators were set upon by some of the many zero-hour contract working-class residents angry at being prevented from travelling to their workplaces.

Don't normally sympathise with violence but I had to chuckle at the look of shock on the bearded, besuited, professorial looking chap as he was dragged of the roof by furious would-be travellers. If he wasn't seriously beaten up he was lucky...

Agreed on all fronts; a terrible decision to target such a working class area, and I couldn’t help but have a laugh at the chap being dragged off the tube.

I think the majority of the public have sympathy with their cause, but they are such an un-relatable group to most normal people - they are very rapidly doing their cause more harm than good.

ER a movement of white middle class liberals, welcome to the real world. Apparently things have now gone quiet.

So hundreds of police officers thousands of hours of their time not attending to knife crime to police this mob. One protestor gets beaten up and it all goes quiet.

They should try protesting outside of Millwall's ground at the next home game see how that goes.

You know they've lost public support when even James "lefty" O'Brian condemned them this morning.

Be interesting if they try this prior to the next West Ham game. Those gents wouldn’t appreciate being delayed getting to their free stadium.

Seeing as they are white middle class liberals I would like to see them blockade Islington and Hampstead let's see how their fellow travellers feel about not being able to get to their favourite cafe.

These despicable varmints need to be tarred and feathered, thrown in the pestle and mortar and pummelled.
