Another story with him wanting out of Chelsea, which makes sense now more than ever. I don't particularly want him long-term, but would take him on a loan or for very little money. He has to be better than Tekkers. If we picked him up in the winter for 5 million or less I'd consider it good business. Anything more, I'd be disappointed. Dream on. Would love him at SP, especially as he has been told he needs more game time to get to Euro 2020 but, unfortunately, I think he would still command more than this

He's 33 - so what would we offer contact wise?

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Bring him in on loan until the end of the season. That should give him the game time he wants and only a short term commitment from Palace.

Lets see. He is 33, would like a World Cup medal for which he needs game time, has a flair for scoring against Palace. Has to be treated as a player with ambition. Guaranteed starts - treated like a Crown Jewell is not the way. Suggest £15,000.00 per week, rising to £25,000 if taking part in match, with £30,000.00 deduction if he produces an own goal. We need to keep lots of amounts of £5,000.00 to reward Academy Players coming through.
