Good news that we haven't pi$$ed about for too long though Anyway, regardless, if this comes off I'll actually be excited come September, when up and until now I had been quite anxious. I actually think if Wilf ends up staying then Eze could also give him a lift, especially if we could secure a striker too. The only one caveat I'll put on this, is that when we were linked with him two years ago some QPR fans were saying he can be a bit lazy, but regardless he certainly has that X factor

Wycombe fan here. Eze played his first ever professional league games for us in L2 on loan from QPR, in the first half of the 2017/18 season when he was 19. He was so exceptional that I have followed his career since. Obviously L2 is no indication of PL talent, but he seems to have added so much to his game, as he has developed. I have been following this transfer saga simply because I am massively interested to see where he ends up. Now that it looks like Crystal Palace, I have to say congratulations - I believe you have a serious talent on your hands, with some natural skills that are going to light up the Prem. I have said he would be an England player and wanted by top six teams by this time in 2022. We shall see if I am right. I will be following his performances for you with interest!
