Blimey, was nearly two months that I started this thread and it’s pretty much rained every day since. That’s three months of almost continual rain.

Must be all kinds of records being broken.

at the bottom of my road is goring greensward, its a stretch of green before you get to the sea.
Its so wet through the gulls (herring, not the rat ones) are literally swimming in it.
my garden is clay soil so its sodden.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

I have visited the Sea Lane cafe on the Goring Greensward.
From your description it is apparent that the tide never came in it came down!
I never had the opportunity to check on the conditions on the greensward near our local beach.
My galoshes have been put to good use during our 'Monsoon' season !!!!

My sister lives just outside Sydney and she would happily swap our rain for their blazing heat and killer fires

My wife and I have been in communication with her brother and wife who are resident about 1.5 hours drive north of Sydney.

They have had temperatures of around 32 Degs and the nearest fire is about 30KM away. The have witnessed coloured skies, can smell burning and the 'Rain' they have had has been some ash.

Dont fret
Its cyclical.
It could be a 1000 year cycle.
That's the frustration of many silent voices.
Anti climate change arguments are as bad as murder nowadays.

How could I guess you would be a climate change denier.

You see it going on around you at such a dramatic pace, yet you bury your head in the sand.

This is from the skeptics society.

Climate change deniers are also a genuine fear. They slow down the pace of our reaction, which needs to be really fast.

You do understand that it is getting hotter because it is meant to during this stage of deglaciation.

The only question is if man made environmental factors will push warming beyond what would be normal.

Since we know it has been hotter in the past during interglacial periods, we can't really be shocked by current conditions.

Your first line is wrong tbh.
where have I said the climate isnt changing?
My question is how man is impacting it, if at all.
The cycle of the earth and its features and actions is probably longer than we have records for.
This could all be part of a cycle that's happened over and over.
To deny that makes you the climate change denier.

You can literally predict which names on here will deny man's influence on the climate.

Hmm, never heard of a glacial period taking tens of years. Still, I’m sure all the climate scientists are only guessing and the recent weather changes are simply due to Jeremy corbyn and there being too many Muslims
