Looking at the table at the moment, the patchy form of several "big" clubs, and Palace's new never-say-die attitude as seen in the comeback against Arsenal, can we start dreaming of a Europa League place next season? I do worry about the potential loss of momentum due to our older than average squad (not helped by Roy's unwillingness to give youth a proper chance) but if we're still in with a chance by January it'd be nice to see the board prepare to splash a bit of cash to help us get there.

That and, I think we can safely say Zaha is a lot better off staying here than going to Everton. The right choice was made, even if reluctantly.

We don't have the squad depth or the attacking quality. We'll drop off when injuries hit.

Very confident for a top-half finish this season though - we're ticking along very consistently, hardly playing brilliantly but getting the job done well.

We can always dream and why not? However, let's get the vital 40 pts then see if we can push on. The Jan window will be vital but I fear our owners have the money earmarked for other things.

Let's get real, only a few points separate us from the bottom three and we have had more than our fair share of luck this year

The average age of the side is worrying me as well as season progresses. Zaha is 27 in a couple of weeks and he was our youngest player today

As I posted in a when we are safe thread , when and if we get to 40 points hopefully on good time we should be looking to introduce one or two of our youngsters and try to get the average age down while we are in a position to do this.

I'm just pissed off at how bad we were at corners. Not sure I've ever known us to be so vulnerable.

It's a no from me. Top 10 has been my target for the last 5 years or so. For the short term I just want us to get through this run of fixtures with some respectability.

I still think we have the weakest squad we've had for several years, and seemingly no money to improve it.

We are riding the VAR wave this year and are currently getting the benefit of it. I reckon it’s given us 7 points at least. Take those away and our table position would not be great at all. Small margins dictate football games at this level, so let’s hope we continue to get the rub.

I’ll take mid table as a good finish but as some have rightly said, we need to add some youth to our ranks otherwise next year will be like watching Dads Army.

I think if Ayew stays fit until January and we bring in a striker on loan, or buy, of quality, it could be a really good season.

It's Palace...we give the top teams a run for their money but are capable of losing to the likes of Newcastle ! So I think a mid table finish is more likely, there are still stronger clubs below us under performing.

We do have a squad of mature players, but I don't think that's down to Roy's bias against youth - I can't think of one young player that looks ready for a regular first team place.
