I've actually enjoyed posting a fair bit during this election, and I have been a bit mundane or overly circumspect in almost everything I've posted. Without going into detail that's because there is a worrying health concern that I'm dealing with and to be frank I was looking for a bit of light relief from it. Anyone bothering to read what I'm being battered over the head about will clearly see that in the context of my message that it was quite mundane, and in fact what I described in bold in my previous message. I wasn't looking for an argument, nor did I expect one or want to give the mods work to do. Interactions like are feel like pollution I, and I imagine a lot of people, can do without. On that note fellas, take care. Time for me to find a better way to spend my time.

Critical and to the point.....As for narcissism....perhaps a little.

However, project much?...look at how touchy you get when criticized....You're bright but you're packaged with esteem issues.

It's probably why you're so vanilla normally because when you get criticised you can't handle it.

It was relevant as is your mistreatment. If you're going to angrily fixate over a couple of lines about how its decent to treat people a certain way as an 'appalling insult' I will highlight that you would think that, since you yourself have the habit of behaving towards said people in a cruel and substandard way yourself. You're more angry at people being treated with kindness and decency than treating them as inferior. Even in your own family it seems. Well done.

Mmmmm..We have seen this before....You have little issue with manipulating a narrative....even one that just happened. I can imagine that hasn't served you well in life. Perhaps you should have gone into law, it could have served you well.

As for your description of my views, that's all just subjective myopic nonsense. I've never described people as 'inferior', those are your words and so a little dishonest. That's how you like to portray my views. The reality is something else.

And as you like context, fine. Yes I said on here about how my brother was terribly bullied for being gay? So yes I'll defend my family. Give it a go yourself sometime mr allegiance.

Sorry Wordy I don't tend to wash other family member's dirty linen on public forums. But you knock yourself out.

In the weeks after that, if anyone wants to search, on multiple occasions you put the word 'fag' in replies to me clearly looking for a rise. So yeah, no wonder you mention him again. Want to give him a bit of what you give your own do you? Taking out that council estate angst you mentioned on whatever minority you can find are you?

Yeah, I don't deny true things....you knew I was winding you up....well not just you, sometimes derogatory words are amusing in jokes....and I like jokes.

But that's what it was, a joke, the fact is that you're too much of a snowflake to resist biting.

I'm not really getting the council estate connection to this but ok amigo.

Listen, you latched onto a post which is LITERALLY ABOUT the futility of political parties on the left pushing the identity politics angle, and of saying that emotion around mass immigration is completely understandable and that cutting numbers will be a good thing, to isolate a very particular part that you feel wasn't even intended as an insult anyway, to repeatedly tell me what a terrible insult I've made to past generations, people with certain political groups and so on. It's APPALING apparently. Well pass that hanky.

Well, I thought I'd make a point, poke you a bit....and then watch you fly.

As for the immigration point....well I answered that.

You're obviously in a mood and out looking for an argument. It was contrivied and over nothing, and as you're hardly someone who demonstrates a standard to others worth emulating to begin with, kindly bother someone else.

Not really....My points was genuine and as a social liberal you're my natural prey.

You're right to call me critical...perhaps overly sometimes, however boy you are touchy and react playing the victim card whenever you can.

As for leaving you alone....You're right, I did post to you. I'll stand down, that's fair.

If someone has a health condition then that's unfortunate, no one knew that.

This is the politics section of the website and debates happen and ideas are traded. This wasn't a one way discussion. I explored the implication of a statement.

If someone wants to keep it light and fluffy that's fine, but they have to let that be known.

It doesn't surprise me. The Tories have gone further left on economics and adopted something akin to economic populism when compared to the past. Whether they deliver on this, who knows but I can see why it would appeal to Labour voters. On the social issues front, womens rights, gay rights, racial fairness are for the most part signed, sealed and delivered both legally and typically with common sense and decency of the British people. We aren't really the US, and so movements that are overly loud within parties in this department now don't resonate. It's really only immigration that is and has been the white hot social issue, and the Lib Dems wanted to ignore that, Labour didn't know what they wanted, and so really only Conservatives had a plan on how to act on the numbers coming in. Hence Brexit. With the NHS and housing issues ever present, people just got fed up with the 'everyone in' approach and when you look at the numbers it's not hard to see why.

That said, we do need to fast track changes to nursing to keep people in the profession and train the next lot coming through. Removing the student nurse bursary was clearly both unfair and counterproductive.

After May's manifesto, they learnt the lesson that they had to put forward a centrist manifesto and they did. Interestingly, now they know they can win traditional Labour votes, they might try to keep policies designed to keep those seats.

Immigration with the Tories has always been a funny one. You'd think that free market ideas would say that the government should have no right to say where people should live. Restrictions on freedom of movement is generally a unionist idea.

I have noticed the bar and shop jobs are now being filled with British youngsters again. Where as the last few years they have all seemed to be over skilled eastern Europeans. The Eastern European labour is great for the consumer, as you get arguably better staff for a lower price. Because of this the impact on house prices, opportunity for young people, wages, and services have been overlooked.

A super majority government is what was so badly needed to sort us out. We’ve delivered it to the best guy BJ. A man with a very clear plan who will clear up so much mess and take us forward.
Thank heaven JC was so heavily defeated. Clearly the people didn’t fancy him one little bit.
Brave new world ahead hopefully with some old value blended in where manners respect and human decency are restored.
A 3 goal margin in our favour tonight would crown my week.
Bring it on Palace.

I'm hearing rumours that Keir Starmer's leadership bid has been stalled after there being so much heat ....probably correctly placed onto Labour's Brexit strategy for the scale of the election defeat.

I think that is a mistake myself as I'm not seeing a lot of talent otherwise outside of Barry Gardanier.

If he apologised and admits to that mistake I think he can go forward, though perhaps the lows that the Labour party is currently experiencing is too deep for that.

We shall see.

Whatever happens next I think we have seen the northern white working class show the Labour party that its north London metropolitan types can't hold their nose, call them gammon, and take their votes for granted.

That's one spicy gammon you're talking about there.

The only one that causes me not to sneer as being more of the same is Lisa Nandy. Ticks a lot of boxes. Represents a Northern seat and was vocal in her disagreement with the disastrous second referendum policy. And not a Corbyinite in any way, shape or form.

If we accept that Labours horrendous showing was a combination of both Corbyn and the second referendum policy then she is the only one as far as I can see that is able to stand up and claim she has clean hands concerning both.

And has a long time to grow into the role.

The rest are all to tainted with this disaster.
