My comments were based on a Boris majority in the impending election.

Fair enough.

It's a tough call for leavers who don't necessarily like the deal and would prefer no deal.
I'm sure they could be persuaded to vote Tory if a deal was done with Farage in which his party contested carefully selected seats.
It might be worth it to get a big Leave majority now and at the next election, Brexit Party would evaporate.

The 'Mood music' in my circles (All leavers) is that an alliance with Farage will assist the Conservatives in our quest for an overall majority.

Apropos the deal, of course some will not view it as "Perfect" but compromises had to be made.As Mark Francois said it is not Valhalla but it gets us out of the EU.

The present deal is the best , apparently, we could get with no deal off the table.
Surely, if possible, a stronger outcome for us would be available with the possibility of no deal in the mix.

Oh God no. The 'The World is going to end in 12 years' vs 'If it gets too hot, just take your jumper off' debate is a very close run with some of the idiocy on the Brexit debate. I can only take one thank you.

If it happens I hope they keep it quiet till relatively late on.

I'm not sure it is a tough call for leavers. Farage has run on pretty much a No Deal Brexit, while stroking a Canada++++ or something to that effect. If you are in the 'Out means out' camp, I can't see how you'd not vote for the Brexit Party.

Farage has basically said that May's deal is worse than remaining and I think he's basically said Boris's deal is worse than May's. Therefore, Farage not standing candidates anywhere is at odds with what he wants to achieve and here's the reason why;

Boris and Corbyn will no deliver 'true' Brexit. It will be remain light, because I don't believe there are enough ardent No Dealers in either party. I mean, the Brexit Party has been around for almost a year and still have no policies that I'm aware of, which says a lot.

Farage may be a BSer, but he's smart. He knows, unless ego gets in the way, that the most power you have isn't a PM, it's as the opposition or the big donor.

A survey of Conservative members has revealed that 51% want Johnson to form a pact with Farage, 42% were against whilst 7% were in the 'Dont know' category.

Let's not forget though that this election isn't only about Brexit.

A Corbyn government would be economically disastrous as would be a hung parliament with a lib-lab pact.

We would have a repeat of when the socialists took over in France and we would see a significant proportion of wealth buggering off.

If Farage's party stood and were to take three or four points off of a Tory vote who knows what might happen.

The obvious issue is the risk of a hung Parliament or worse.
Voting for Farage could make this happen so a deal between parties is a good option in my opinion.

Surveys have tended to find in recent weeks that Brexit is the top issue for Party activists. And they are being presented by Boris Johnson with an election that he hopes will “Get Brexit done”.

That being so,it is perhaps not surprising that a majority of activists believe, albeit narrowly, that it therefore makes sense to work with another party that wants to leave the EU.

I'd argue that the biggest wealth creators are the Central banks at this present time, bailing out businesses and institutions all over the place.

I also think a lot also depends on who is President in the USA. If Bernie/Warren win, then I'm not sure where wealth will be able to go to.

Also, never underestimate the chance of another LibCon, with the 'We will control the Conservatives'slogan

Sure, that's one form that but the top ten percent of wealth in the country who don't currently run off....probably will.

The same places a few of them do already. There are plenty of places from Monaco to Switzerland....and even if that were not the case as soon as a Warren or Bernie US government existed a country would emerge to welcome them.

Where there is a demand there is a supply.....especially when it's gold tinted.

Perhaps but surely the Libs have already learnt that lesson.

Mind you at least then we would have an impressive pair of tIts to look at to add to our current resident one.
