Roy has to take some blame theres no plan b wheres camarasa wheres meyer or kirby or Daly Flanagan lokilo hes clearly never gonna play them give them a chance what's the point of having dann and reidawald on the bench to defensive not enough risk donsnt play the creative flair players when we need them also if parish by some power god did spend would roy play them if there creative hes not the players we have

The squad is poor , but tactical you have to blame Roy . We are in the process of playing top six sides . These should be free hits as we are not expected to get much return. So he should be mixing it up as it clearly not working. Play Benteke (I Know ? ) and get crosses in and play long ball now and again . We haven’t the players to play passing game or hold out for 90 minutes . Sorry I know we have ageing and lightweight squad , But we are too predictable and when we come to play lesser teams we will still struggle.

The squad is poor , but tactical you have to blame Roy . We are in the process of playing top six sides . These should be free hits as we are not expected to get much return. So he should be mixing it up as it clearly not working. Play Benteke (I Know ? ) and get crosses in and play long ball now and again . We haven’t the players to play passing game or hold out for 90 minutes . Sorry I know we have ageing and lightweight squad , But we are too predictable and when we come to play lesser teams we will still struggle.

Our main problem is a lack of creativity, in all fairness we’ve had a lot less possession in the last few games but after the Liverpool game (as we’ll probably play defensively again) Meyer and/or Camarasa need to start

I know he is not the answer (Benteke) But as mentioned we have a poor squad and have to work with the tools provided ! Would just mix it up a little and least give the opposition some kind of threat in the air .

This is so false Roy does some very good things but is really lacking in others which we are seeing this is why you have multi coaches not one man can know it all. Yes some of our players are aging but again comes down to Roy not willing to give youngsters and chance or other people. Not true we can play others ways this has been proven when other managers was in charge it may not be a complete overhaul but attacking wise we could do much better. The squad is not poor we do have some very good players and is best Palace squad we have ever had. Yes I agree regarding tactics he is to closed minded on that subject and we are seeing his limitations we can only play this one way which was highlighted when he was at Liverpool which is why he lost the dressing room with even players leaking pictures with his same old negative tactics. Benteke has clearly fallen out of favor and really is such a waste the guy has proven he can do a job if used correctly which Roy has no intention of changing his style to suit this guy plus I agree with this as well why we don't bother with crosses is shocking really. Sadly all too predictable. Makes me nostalgic for when Big Sam played Benteke and Zaha up front at Chelsea. Played directly and made the Chelsea defence turn and face their own goal. The current way of playing does not get the best out of Zaha or Townsend and means playing a centre forward in Ayew whose main role is to run around a lot and act as first line of defence. Yes, Roy will probably keep us up but it’s painful to watch and means lots of games where we won’t have a meaningful shot on target.

I suspect that some supporters have their doubts that he will keep us up.

I asserted on HOL before the season started that we would be a hard watch and would send our supporters into slack-jawed somnolence and this is what is coming to pass.
