Does anybody have one? there's tea, dessert and table, but plenty of others if you include ladels and large cooking spoons, some are stainless steel, some plastic, then there is of course the wooden spoon which has both positive (licking cake dough off one when very young) and negative (finishing bottom) associations. My personal favourite is the soup spoon - I cannot have soup with a dessert spoon, my conveyance must have a round receptacle not an oval shaped one - it's probably my only such fad, pretty carefree generally, but I'm very anal when it comes to spooning down my soup, mind you a drop of tinned cream of tomato on a cold night is lovely straight out of a mug, especially with a cheese and/or bread/cracker accompaniement.

So I'm voting for the humble soup spoon. Tell me your favourite spoon and I'll keep count. I'm predicting a 1-0 victory for 'soup'.

I thought this was a thread about Wetherspoons in which case the answer is no I don't have one.

Those flat bottomed Chinese soup spoons are strangely satisfying to use.

Fair play ex hibitionist you have an unusual hobby and aren't afraid to admit to it.

My favourite spoon was with a blonde, whose name I can't remember, back in 1993 after a heavy night's alcoholic intake.

Deep curves and a heavy bottom....Quite a handle.

You could have mentioned Spoonerism's like Betty Swollocks, or my favourite Welsh love spoons carved from a single piece of wood but originally used for soup!

My interpretation too.

I hope you don’t tell your missus this.

Spoons can be quite dangerous if used aggressively. Do you remember Frank Bruno being stopped in the 11th back in the day?
With a right hook?
No, Witherspoon.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.
